Tubis grows: Groundbreaking ceremony for new plant in Nobitz
Nobitz, August 27, 2025 – The Tubis Group has started the construction of a new production facility at the Nobitz site with a ground-breaking ceremony. In a first step, the company is investing around 15 million euros in the construction of the second PTO plant. Construction is scheduled to take around one and a half years, with commissioning planned for the end of 2026.
With the new plant, Tubis is creating additional capacity, strengthening its sites and sending a clear signal for the further development of the entire group of companies. The investment is also an important step towards expanding modern technologies and contributing to a sustainable supply of raw materials.
Parallel to the start of construction in Nobitz, Tubis also received approval for the construction and operation of a further plant at its fourth site in Ochtrup in accordance with the Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV).
With these projects, the Group will grow to a total of four approved plants. Together, they will have a cumulative feedstock volume of around 100,000 tons per year.
Tubis is thus consistently implementing its growth strategy and further expanding its capacities for the sustainable use of raw materials.
